Indeed, the time has come for the hectic festival of presents, wine, whinning children and over-cooked turkey! The festivities have arrived so indeed, i shall be surrounded by drunk adults and fustratiing children, and then there is me, in the middle, the festive adolescent that would rather have a traditional, hassle free, enjoyable day with her family! but like last year and the fours past years, i shall be spending them taking headache pills and using appeasement to cease war between my family!
please excuse my blunder but i am no scrooge, but my idea of christmas is a lot, lets say, its more, festive? joyful? instead of waking up, violently blustering through presents and spending the next so many hours doing nothing but breaking exspenisve gifts and arguing with siblings! then you have the subliminal task of trying to have a civil meal with your family, which in the last 4 years has consisted of, children wanting the others toys, over cooked turkey and strong wine!
hopefully this year will be more enjoyable
